This episode is without a doubt the most serious episode that we’ve ever recorded. We take a lookback over the little that is known about a murder that took place very close by to the town that we live in. Just before Christmas, 1990 a taxi driver was murdered nearby the local landmark of Mow Cop. Needless to say, we were all shocked. It is not an area synonymous with serious crime. Steven Johnson was a gentle giant and family man who had taken a part time job as a taxi driver to earn some extra money for Christmas. His brutal murder shocked a community and would later feature on BBC’s Crimewatch. Some key figures have never been traced and some key clued undeciphered. The chances of someone who has the key to unlocking this mystery is unlikely to listen to this episode, but just in case they do…
