We’ve decided to give each blog post a title rather than just using the date. It will make the blog easier to flick through!
The new episode dropped this morning and it’s all about preparedness for a worst case scenario. We’ve been fascinated for some time about the Prep movement and with the whole world being affected by the Pandemic and the political uncertainty that seems to surround it in many countries in the west, we decided to take a closer look at that movement. Andy is the only one of us with military training but we thought we’d discuss what we’d do if the end of civilisation were to begin to unfold. It’s fair to say the Tall Boy Radio tribe is one that probably wouldn’t flourish… especially once all the local off licenses had been raided. We didn’t record next week’s episode this week as we normally would do. Gaz let us know over the weekend that he was feeling unwell. He had a test for Covid19 on Monday and unfortunately that came back positive. I’m pleased to say that he hasn’t required hospitalisation and although is not 100% is starting to feel better. I’m sure you’ll join us in wishing him a speedy recovery to full health and hopefully his sense of taste returns so that he can taste his caramel lattes for the rest of October. 😉
We plan on recording two episdoes this coming Tuesday. The first of which Gaz will be leading and another episode that will be released the following week so that we are back on schedule.
We did (and still do, I guess) have plans to organise a fundraiser along with our pals David and Scott of Double Trouble drinks. Gaz and Beans plan to dress as English Knights and battle it out in a best of 3 darts match at Hardian’s Wall against David and Scott in full Scottish regalia. We hope this can still go ahead but we’ll have to run it past Boris first!! Watch this space….
